Dr. Claudia Varvara grew up in Romania. After moving to Chicago Northwest suburbs she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was a member of the International Honor Society.
Dr. Varvara continued her education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, which has been ranked as the top dental school in the United States and second in the world for the past two years. It was there where her interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry started. She continues to expand her knowledge and skills through attending continuing education courses and hands-on training events.
Dr. Varvara’s passion for dentistry has one main goal: to help her patients to become healthier and gain back their confidence in their smiles. Her approach to treating patients is to listen first and then work with her patients as a team to meet their dental health needs and expectations. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Besides her passion for dentistry she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, swimming, and cooking.
